A brand style guide, often referred to as a brand book, standard or guidelines sets out the rules and standards that control how your brand is visually represented internally and externally. This includes the logo, colours, typography, language, photography, and UI patterns.

These rules and standards relate to the brand mission statement which enables employees, partners, customers, suppliers and prospects to understand your brand, what you’re trying to achieve, and why it should be represented in a certain way.
